Mollie was always very generous with her time and talents, including her amazing abilities as a seamstress. The first picture is of her nephew Ellis Toll in pajamas and a lobster costume, both made by Mollie. The costume was popular for years in our house as it was handed down.
As Wolky, Nick and Spencer have mentioned, Mollie was adept at avoiding the camera lens, but we were lucky enough to capture a few moments with her. In the second picture, she is with her nieces Kate and Liza Toll in that year’s version of their brand new “Mollie nighties”, as they were known in our house; Ellis isn’t wearing his pajamas in this shot. The nighties were warm, comfortable and well-loved by their wearers, just as Mollie herself was.
Just one more reason that we will miss her dearly.
