from Janet Vickar
Planted on fertile soil, seeds grow and flourish. I think of seeds when I think of Mollie. We shared an interest in archaeobotany, and, with others, the hard work of writing an archaeobotany field guide. Her contributions of time, writing, and knowledge were invaluable. Mollie was also a fellow Santa Fean. I loved running into Mollie and Wolky in many, often unexpected, places -it seems we shared similar interests. Mollie - always warm, welcoming, friendly, and with a beautiful smile. I see her face now, surrounded by that glossy dark hair and bangs (with not a single strand of gray!). I miss you, Mollie. Though always a New Englander, the seeds you sowed here in Santa Fe will thrive and flourish always.
